For this great cuvée produced in plot selection, the grapes are delicately and rigorously harvested by hand. A great wine to keep many times awarded by critics around the world, Paragon, as its name suggests, represents our purest gem of the Landiech region. This nectar can age and improve for more than 25 years.

  • Intense nose of red and black fruits, liquorice.
  • Powerful and elegant on the palate thanks to the maturity of the tannins.

Vinification and aging

  • Harvest: harvest and sorting by hand.
  • Blend: Malbec.
  • Type of soil: plot selection from Landiech, gravel and gravel-clay soils (5 different types), on Kimmeridgian base, ideal microclimate.
  • Consultant oenologist: Michel Rolland.
  • Vinification: Cold maceration (8 ° C for 7 days), Alcoholic fermentation, Hot maceration (28 ° C).
  • Cuverie:French oak tuns .
  • Aging: malolactic fermentation for 22 months in new French oak barrels.
